GRONINGEN, Netherlands, April 13 (UPI) -- A bronze sculpture of British supermodel Kate Moss entitled "Sphinx" is being prepared for display in the Netherlands.

Artist Marc Quinn is creating five Moss statues as part of a project to be eventually exhibited in New York, the BBC reported Thursday.

The first of the lot with the model's ankles and arms behind her ears will be shown at the Netherlands' Groninger Museum this month.

Quinn said he calls the life-size sculpture "Sphinx" because the model shares the mystery of the Egyptian monument.
