LOS ANGELES, April 5 (UPI) -- Woody Allen has tapped Oscar-nominated "Brokeback Mountain" actress Michelle Williams for his next film shooting in Paris.

Details of the untitled film are scarce except that it focuses on a group of young Americans in Paris, The Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday.

Williams started on TV in the WB's "Dawson's Creek" and has become one of Hollywood's hottest properties since playing the long-suffering wife of the gay cowboy played by Heath Ledger in "Brokeback Mountain."

She next appears in the indie drama, "The Hawk is Dying" and recently filmed a cameo for Ethan Hawke's "The Hottest State."
