Photog sues Enrique Iglesias in Miami

MIAMI, April 5 (UPI) -- A photographer is suing Enrique Iglesias in Miami over a 2002 scuffle with the singer's bodyguards at a beachside restaurant.

Angel Mora filed the suit Friday accusing Iglesias of assault, battery and malicious prosecution, MTV.com reported Wednesday.

The suit says Mora and his pregnant wife were snapping photos of Iglesias and Anna Kournikova as they dined in August 2002. Iglesias allegedly ordered his bodyguards to grab the couple's cameras.

Mora said they were roughed up by the bodyguards and then wrongfully arrested after the star filed charges against them. The criminal charges were later dropped, MTV.com said.

The suit asks that Iglesias be forced to pay the couple's legal fees, bond and lost wages.
