Green Day, Chris Rock are Kids Choice

LOS ANGELES, April 3 (UPI) -- Comedian Robin Williams got slimed while Lindsay Lohan, Green Day and Chris Rock all got honored during Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards in Los Angeles.

Green Day won favorite music group and favorite song for "Wake Me Up When September Ends," Rock won favorite voice from an animated movie for "Madagascar" and the Wannabe Award, given to the celebrity who receives the most votes to the question: Who would you like to be?

Lohan was named favorite movie actress and favorite movie actor Will Smith took home his fifth blimp during weekend ceremonies at Pauley Pavilion. The favorite movie was "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" while the favorite animated movie award went "Madagascar."

Nickelodeon's "Drake & Josh" was the favorite TV show with star Drake Bell taking the favorite TV actor prize and "Zoey 101" star Jamie-Lynn Spears being named favorite TV actress. For the fourth year in a row, Nick's "SpongeBob SquarePants" won favorite cartoon.

The favorite singers were Jesse McCartney and Kelly Clarkson, cyclist Lance Armstrong was favorite athlete and Justin Timberlake beat Hugh Jackman for the best burp.

A record-breaking 25 million children cast votes in the 16 categories this year, E! Online reported.
