'View' co-hosts defend S.E. Cupp over Hustler photo

LOS ANGELES, March 24 (UPI) -- Josh Brolin, Rose Byrne, Toni Collette, James Franco and Marcia Gay Harden have joined the Hollywood all-star cast for Karen Moncrieff's "The Dead Girl."
Piper Laurie is also expected to join Mary Beth Hurt, Brittany Murphy, Giovanni Ribisi, Mary Steenburgen and Kerry Washington in Moncreiff's follow-up to her critically acclaimed debut "Blue Car," Daily Variety reported Friday.
Shooting is scheduled to start in Los Angeles April 12 for the mystery surrounding the death of a young woman.
The film is being financed and produced by Lakeshore Entertainment.
"Blue Car" was acquired by Miramax Films at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards.
