Sheryl Crow plans summer tour

NASHVILLE, March 17 (UPI) -- Rocker Sheryl Crow is celebrating her successful cancer surgery with a concert tour.

Crow, 44, scrapped her spring tour after being diagnosed with breast cancer last month. However, she announced Friday she would make up most of the dates, starting June 12 in Indianapolis, E! Online reported.

She will wrap the outing in support of her Grammy-nominated album, "Wildflower," by opening for the Dave Matthews Band at Boston's Fenway Park July 8.

The nine-time Grammy winner said her surgery was "minimally invasive" and followed by precautionary radiation treatment.
