TV pilot season keeps stars hopping

LOS ANGELES, March 10 (UPI) -- Dylan McDermott, Denise Richards, Annie Potts and John Heard are just a few of the stars busy for the TV pilot season.

McDermott, who won a Golden Globe for "The Practice," has joined ABC's drama pilot "A House Divided," while Richards has joined the Alphabet Net's pilot "Secrets of a Small Town," The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

Wendie Malick stars in the ABC comedy pilot, "A Day in the Life," Heard was cast in ABC's drama, "Twenty Questions," and Potts has Fox's pilot for the comedy "Julie Rendo, Bounty Hunter."

Lizzy Caplan was added to CBS' comedy series "The Class," Vanessa Ferlito has been cast in ABC's "Drift" and Todd Stashwick will be in NBC's comedy pilot "Community Service."
