Natalie Cole breaks arm on 'Grey's' set

ENCINO, Calif., March 2 (UPI) -- Grammy-winning singer Natalie Cole fell on the set of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" and fractured her right arm.

Cole was guest-starring as a surgery patient on the medical drama when she slipped and fell, the New York Daily News reported Thursday.

The singer was rushed to a nearby hospital in Encino, where X-rays revealed a break in her radius bone between the wrist and elbow.

After being treated at the hospital, Cole returned to her faux hospital bed and finished filming her scenes -- with her sling-bound arm hidden under the bedcovers, the News said.
