LAS VEGAS, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Classic rock idols Ted Nugent, Scott Ian, Sebastian Bach and Evan Seinfield and icon offspring Jason Bonham star in VH1's latest reality show, "SuperGroup."

The show from J.D. Roth's 3 Ball Productions of "Breaking Bonaduce" fame follows the rockers through two weeks of training in Las Angeles with manager Doc McGhee, culminating in a concert at the Rain nightclub, Daily Variety reported.

The show combines VH1's successful Sunday night "Celebreality" series with a music theme, VH1's Michael Hirschorn told Variety.

"What I liked about 'SuperGroup' was that it combined elements that have worked so well for us in Celebreality with an organic music idea," Hirschorn said.

The series, already under production, hits the air on May 18.
