LOS ANGELES, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Hollywood superstar James Woods is starring in and Spike Lee is directing the pilot for the CBS drama, "Shark," it was announced Monday.
The drama about a celebrity attorney turned prosecutor was all but dead 10 days ago, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The pilot had a cast contingency approval and no cast with only five weeks before production was set to begin.
CBS had reportedly all but given up on the project and was working on a deal to pick up Joe Pantoliano's "Waterfront," when word of the 11th hour deal with Woods arrived, The Reporter said.
