Olga Tanon, Inocable big Latin Music wins

MIAMI, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Olga Tanon and Inocable were the big winners at the "Premio Lo Nuestro a La Musica Latina" awards in Miami, taking four Latin Music awards each.

Tanon won Tropical Album of the Year for "Una Nueva Mujer," Best Female Artist, Song of the Year for "Bandolero," and Tropical Merengue Artist of the Year during the Thursday night ceremony broadcast by Univision.

Intocable ruled the Regional Mexican category, taking Album of the Year for "Diez", Best Group or Duo, Song of the Year for "Aire" and Best Norteno Artist awards, Univision said.

Colombian superstar Shakira won Pop Album of the Year for "Fijacion Oral," Pop Song of the Year for "La Tortura," a duet with Alejandro Sanz, which also won the award for Best Pop Group or Duo.

Reggaeton's Daddy Yankee was crowned Urban Artist of the Year and won Urban Song of the Year for "Lo Que Paso, Paso."

Luis Fonsi also picked up a pair of awards, Best Male Pop Artist and Video of the Year for "Nada Es Para Siempre."

Legendary singer Ana Gabriel was presented the "Premio a la Excelencia" and "El Buki" Marco Antonio Solis was given a special award in recognition of his 30-year career.
