BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Academy Award nominees Dolly Parton and Kathleen "Bird" York will perform during ABC's broadcast of the 78th Academy Awards ceremony.

Oscar producer Gil Cates announced Monday that Parton will sing her nominated original song, "Travelin' Thru" from "Transamerica" while York will perform "In the Deep," which she wrote with Michael Becker and was featured in the film, "Crash."

The song is featured on York's debut album "Wicked Little High," which comes out Feb. 21 on EMI.
