
NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Dave Matthews Band, Jimmy Buffet and Allen Toussaint are just a few of the stars signed for the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
Also on board are Elvis Costello, Lionel Richie, Keith Urban, Ani DiFranco, the Meters and Fats Domino, Billboard.com reported Thursday.
The annual event returns to the Fair Grounds Race Course April 28-30 and May 5-7, organizers said. For the first time ever, a corporate sponsor, Shell, will help underwrite the event.
A number of local artists are on the bill as well, including Dr. John, the Rebirth Brass Band, Walter "Wolfman" Washington, Clarence "Frogman" Henry and Michael White.
Also tapped to perform are Yolanda Adams, Hugh Masekela, Keb' Mo', Galactic, Terence Blanchard, Sonny Landreth and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
