'View' co-hosts defend S.E. Cupp over Hustler photo

NEW YORK, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- A photo called "The Pond-Moonlight" taken in 1904 set an auction record for a picture by fetching $2.98 million at Sotheby's in New York.
Edward Steichen's photograph sale Tuesday night far surpassed the record $1.248 million set last November by Richard Prince's "Untitled (Cowboy)," the New York Post reported Wednesday.
Two other photos taken by Alfred Stiegliz surpassed the old record as well. His "Georgia O'Keeffe (Hands)" sold for $1.472 million and "Georgia O'Keeffe (Nude)" went for $1.36 million.
The works were among 130 sold by the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Sotheby's did not reveal the identities of the record-breaking buyers.
