LOS ANGELES, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- New York's "Judge Judy" Sheindlin left the snowy Big Apple for the Los Angeles dedication of her star along Hollywood's Walk of Fame.
The Daytime Emmy-nominated magistrate flew two private jets packed with friends and family to witness the Valentine's Day event, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
"We have a U.S. president, U.S. senator, actor Raymond Burr, who played a lawyer, but this is our first real judge," Hollywood Honorary Mayor Johnny Grant said in dedicating the Walk's 3,204st star.
After the ceremony, the celebrants retired to Paramount Studios' "New York set" for a Big Apple-style block party complete with dog stands, pretzel carts, burgers, vendors, street performers and deli station, the Post said.
