Rapper not talking to police on shooting

NEW YORK, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Rapper Busta Rhymes prayed over the body of his slain bodyguard but still refused to talk to police investigating his shooting outside a New York studio.

Police say Israel Ramirez, 29, was accidentally killed early Sunday when two members of 50 Cent's G-Unit crew allegedly shot at Rhymes' producer, Swizz Beatz, following an argument during a Rhymes' video shoot.

Police sources told the New York Post 12 bullets found at the scene came from two different weapons.

Rhymes, who was believed to have been a witness to the shootout, has repeatedly refused to cooperate in the investigation.

Family members of Ramirez said Rhymes prayed over his body at his wake and vowed to take care of his three young sons.

"He was very sincere," Ramirez's sister, Rosie Rodriguez, told the Post.
