Princess Diana probe laptops stolen

LONDON, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- London's Metropolitan Police say there was no classified information on laptops stolen from the head of the probe into the death of Princess Diana.

Burglars have broken into the Newcastle headquarters of Operation Paget twice in the past 10 days, Sky News reported.

Operation Paget is the name of the investigation into the 1997 Paris car crash that killed Diana and her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed.

Police also said there was no evidence the break-ins were connected to the investigation.
