British police crack DVD piracy ring

LONDON, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- "Munich" and "The Chronicles of Narnia" were among the titles found in a raid by British police who seized more than 100,000 pirated DVDs.

The booty seized in a series of raids in southeast England is worth more than $891,000, Daily Variety reported Wednesday.

Both "Munich" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" are still being shown in British theaters, Variety noted.

Police also seized computers and 200 DVD burners capable of making more than 20,000 pirated discs a day.

Three men were also arrested during the raids as well, police said.
