BERLIN, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- U.S. goth rocker Marilyn Manson wants to write, direct and act in an "art house horror" film about author Lewis Carroll, it was reported Tuesday.
Manson aims to play Carroll if he can get funding for the film, Screen International said Tuesday.

Manson said he will seek investors at Berlin's European Film Market, where he aims to raise the $4.2 million needed to shoot the film.
Manson, 36, has been working on makeup and costuming for the film, producer Alain de la Mata told Screen International.
The European Film Market meets during the 10-day Berlin Film Festival, which kicks off Feb. 9.
