Robin Williams signs on for 'Museum'

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Robin Williams will star as former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt in the 20th Century Fox comedy "Night at the Museum."

Shawn Levy is directing the comedy starring Ben Stiller as a museum security guard who discovers its exhibits come to life when the sun goes down, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

Other signed cast members include Carla Gugino, Kim Raver, Mickey Rooney, Dick Van Dyke and Bill Cobbs.

Filming is scheduled to start next month in Canada with a 2006 holiday release planned.
