LOS ANGELES, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- British actress Minnie Driver will star with Eddie Izzard in the pilot for "Lowlife," a drama being produced by the FX cable network.
Carl Franklin is directing the pilot, which is being co-produced by Maverick TV, The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday.

Izzard and Driver star as married con artists who wander the country with their three children, living off the grid, The Reporter said. In the pilot, Driver's drug-addicted character winds up in prison.
After she is released -- sober -- the family settles down in suburbia and future episodes will follow the family as they to fit in to society.
