Pakistan lifts ban on Bollywood films

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Pakistanis will be able to legally watch Bollywood films now that the government has lifted a decades-old ban against movies from India.

The removal of the words "Indian artiste" and "Indian director" from Pakistan's censorship guidelines means the return of Bollywood films, which remain popular in Pakistan even though they have been outlawed since 1965, the Times of India reported.
