PASADENA, Calif., Jan. 20 (UPI) -- UPN has a "modern day 'Odd Couple'" type show in development starring Lance Bass and Joey Fatone of 'N Sync.
The grown-up boy band mates would play versions of themselves in "Out of Sync," described as a hybrid comedy/reality series, Zap2it.com reported Friday.
"They are two very different people. It's almost a modern-day 'Odd Couple,' if I had to characterize it, with the two of them portraying pretty close to who they are, which is why it's a hybrid of a reality and a comedy show," UPN chief Dawn Ostroff said.
Fatone would play the sloppy Oscar Madison-type role while Bass would be like the persnickety Felix Unger.
No timetable for the show was given.
