Sutherland behaves like a rocker

LONDON, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- A documentary film crew followed U.S. TV star Kiefer Sutherland through Europe, capturing his first attempt at managing a rock 'n' band.

The star of Fox TV's "24" is managing the band Rocco DeLuca & The Burden, which is also signed to his record label.

Sutherland let filmmaker Manu Boyer follow the entourage as it toured Iceland, Ireland and Germany in December, contactmusic.com reports Tuesday.

While Sutherland fought most of the way to keep the keep his charges from engaging in typical rock star antics, he admits there may be some incriminating evidence of some bad behavior on his own part.

"We had a Christmas party that seems to have made a bit of notice," Sutherland said. "The pubs in London, specifically over the holidays, close quite early, so we had kind of an impromptu party in the lobby (of our hotel) where there was unfortunately a 16-foot Christmas tree.

"Every year I seem to do something stupid ... and there I was and I was looking at this 16-foot Christmas tree ... I ran as fast as I could and I launched myself at that tree and knocked it over."
