The Golden Globe for best actress in a TV comedy went to the only nominee not on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" -- Mary Louise Parker of Showtime's "Weeds."

Oscar favorite Reese Witherspoon won the Golden Globe for best actress in a film musical or comedy for her role as June Carter Cash in the Johnny Cash biopic, "Walk the Line."

"My husband just hit me so hard, I almost fell over," she said. "I was having a lot of fun, but I'm having even more fun now."

She said the movie was important to her personally because it's "about where I grew up and the music I grew up listening to."
