NEW YORK, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- The Edward Norton/Evan Rachel Wood romantic crime drama "Down in the Valley" has been picked up for distribution by ThinkFilm of New York.

Writer/director David Jacobson's film will have a limited release in the spring, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

Wood plays a disaffected high school senior who meets a mysterious cowboy played by Norton. Her father, played by David Morse, objects to their friendship and they bond as a result, The Reporter said.

Norton was also a producer of the film.
