Meg White is the new face of Marc Jacobs

LOS ANGELES, N.Y., Jan. 4 (UPI) -- U.S. fashion designer Marc Jacobs has tapped White Stripes drummer Meg White as the face of his newest ad campaign.

Photographer Juergen Teller will shoot the Detroit native for Jacobs, MTV.com reported Wednesday.

Past Jacobs ad campaigns have featured rockers Sonic Youth and Stephen Malkmus of Pavement.
