United Negro College Fund honors Wonder

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- The United Negro College Fund's annual "An Evening of Stars" fundraiser will honor Stevie Wonder for his music and humanitarian efforts.

Fantasia, Maroon 5, India.Arie and Toni Braxton are among the performers paying tribute to Wonder during the four-hour show that will be taped for syndicated broadcast Jan. 6-8, Billboard.com reported.

Also set to appear during the gala at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre are Lou Rawls, Quincy Jones and Doug E. Fresh, actors Jeremy Piven, Vivica A. Fox, Gary Dourdan, Idris Elba and Terrence D. Howard, and comedians D.L. Hughley, Robert Townsend and Tyler Perry.
