LOS ANGELES, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Pop singer and new mom Britney Spears chalked up her third title as the No. 1-most-searched term on the Internet in 2005.

The annual Yahoo! "Buzz Index" poll released Friday said Spears created more interest than anyone else for the third time in four years.

She was dethroned last year by the term "American Idol," Yahoo! said.

Coming in at No. 2 was rapper 50 Cent, followed by the Cartoon Network, Mariah Carey and rockers Green Day.

No. 6 on the "Buzz Index" was singer/actress Jessica Simpson, followed by socialite Paris Hilton, rapper Eminem, R&B singer Ciara and at No. 10, singer/actress Lindsay Lohan.
