Actor gets 'caution' for flight disruption

LONDON, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- British actor Bruce Payne, who played a hijacker in "Passenger 57," received an official caution from London police for disrupting a flight from Los Angeles.

Payne, 47, was removed from a Virgin Atlantic flight when it arrived at London's Heathrow Airport in November, the BBC reported Friday.

"Officers boarded an inbound Virgin Atlantic flight from Los Angeles to Heathrow after the captain radioed ahead regarding the behavior of a passenger," a police spokesman said.

Payne was arrested and reported back to police Thursday, where the official caution was issued. No further action against him will be taken, the spokesman said.

Payne starred with Wesley Snipes in the 1992 film "Passenger 57" and has TV credits including "Spooks" and "Charmed."
