LOS ANGELES, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Cingular Wireless Thursday announced a deal with HBO to run clips of "The Sopranos" and other content on its new wireless broadband network.
HBO Mobile and HBO Family Mobile will offer exclusive content and clips for Cingular 3G phone customers as well ring tones and wallpaper, Cingular said in a news release.

Amp'd Mobile and MTV announced a similar deal Wednesday, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.
Under that deal, MTV Networks will provide video clips and other content from MTV, VH1 and Comedy Central for Amp'd Mobile high-speed phone customers, the newspaper said.
