NEW YORK, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- A number of Kennedy items hit the New York auction block Thursday including former President John F. Kennedy's jewelry box with tie tacks and cufflinks.

A spokesman for Guernsey's said some of the items being sold through Saturday came from "Kennedy family members" as well as collector Robert White, the New York Daily News reported.

Some of the other items on display at the Park Avenue Armory are John and Jackie Kennedy's honeymoon passports and the sailboat Jackie bought for John Jr. in 1969, the newspaper said.
