LONDON, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Former "Dallas" star Victoria Principal is in line to be the first female on British mogul Richard Branson's planned commercial space flight service.
Principal, 59, who played Pam Ewing on "Dallas," has already paid the 115,000 pounds ($203,860) to reserve a seat aboard one of Virgin Galactic's spaceships that will eventually take off from Branson's private space port being built near Roswell, N.M., the Daily Mirror reported Thursday.
Each spaceship will carry six passengers and 12 astronauts, Branson announced Tuesday. Once he receives his license, Branson aims to start test flights in 2007, he said.
Branson said he expects to transport 700 space travelers in the first 18 months of operation.
