'View' co-hosts defend S.E. Cupp over Hustler photo
LAS VEGAS, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- NBC censored a steamy pole dance Pamela Anderson performed while Elton John sang "The Bitch is Back" during his primetime special.
NBC released a statement saying it cut the footage of the scantily clad Anderson because it was "not appropriate for 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT."
The entire number was cut out of the Monday night broadcast of John's concert in Las Vegas, E! Online reported Wednesday.
The routine was included in preview copies of "Elton John: The Red Piano" that were sent out to critics.
Neither John nor Anderson had commented on the edit as of Wednesday, E! said.
