MONTREUIL-SOUS-BOIS, France, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- The French maker of the new King Kong video game says there is flaw in the version of the game made specifically for Microsoft's new Xbox 360 console.
The game made for the Xbox360 is too dark when the console is pulled into a standard TV set, the BBC reported Wednesday. Ubisoft game developers used high definition TVs when creating and testing it.
"I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't see it when we were developing the game," Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemo the told the BBC News Web site.
The game has received high praise overall for its recreation of Peter Jackson's epic film. Jackson worked with the developers to create the game.
There are no reported problems with the King Kong games for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and personal computers.
As for the Xbox360 problem, "We are looking to see if we can fix the code," Guillemot said.
