'View' co-hosts defend S.E. Cupp over Hustler photo

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- The Showtime premium cable network followed up its three Golden Globe nominations for "Weeds" Tuesday by giving the series a second season.
Showtime ordered 12 episodes for season two, two more than its inaugural season, Zap2it.com reported. Production will begin in the spring with fresh episodes scheduled to start next summer.
Mary-Louise Parker was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role as a pot-dealing suburban mom. Elizabeth Perkins was nominated for her role in the supporting actress category while "Weeds" itself was nominated for the best comedy series award.
