HOLLYWOOD, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" grossed $67 million its debut week, topping the U.S. box office.
"Syriana" made $12 million for a total box office of $13.5 million, estimated boxofficemojo.com.
"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," which had kept the top box office spot for three weeks, sunk to No. 3, making $10 million for a total box office of $244 million.
"Walk the Line" made $5.5 million for a total box office of $77 million. "Yours, Mine and Ours" made $5 million for a total box office of $41 million and "Aeon Flux" made $4.6 million for a total box office of $20 million.
"Just Friends" made $3.9 million for a total box office of $26 million and "Pride and Prejudice" made $2.4 million for a total box office of $26 million.
"Chicken Little" made $2.3 million for a total box office of $127 million and "Rent" made $2 million for a total box office of $27 million.
