LOS ANGELES, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Paramount Pictures is in talks with John Singleton to direct its action/adventure film "Convoy," it was reported Thursday.

"Convoy" producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Singleton worked together on the sleeper summer hit "Four Brothers," which grossed nearly $75 million for Paramount, The Hollywood Reporter noted.

"Convoy" will tell the story of truck drivers who, because of financial hardships back home, make a one-year commitment to drive goods for U.S. contractors through the Afghan war zone.
