Schwimmer to make Broadway debut

NEW YORK, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Former "Friends" star David Schwimmer is preparing to make his Broadway debut, it was reported Thursday.

Schwimmer will play the role of Lt. Barry Greenwald in the revival of "The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial," "Entertainment Tonight" reported.

The courtroom drama is being directed by Jerry Zaks.

The play is scheduled to begin previews April 14.
