LOS ANGELES, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Twentieth Century Fox is putting out a computer-generated animation feature of the Dr. Seuss children's classic, "Horton Hears a Who."

Jimmy Hayward and Steve Martino will direct the film due out in spring 2008, Daily Variety reported Thursday.

Audrey Geisel, the widow of Theodor "Dr. Seuss" Geisel, will executive produce the film. In addition to "Horton Hears a Who," she also sold Fox an option for a sequel based on "Horton Hatches an Egg," Variety said.
