KILSHEELAN, Ireland, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Rocker Marilyn Manson married longtime girlfriend, burlesque performer Dita Von Teese, in an Irish castle Saturday.

The couple -- otherwise known as Brian Warner and Heather Sweet -- wrote their own vows for a rather traditional ceremony at Castle Gurteen in Kilsheelan, County Tipperary, Ireland, People magazine reported.

Von Teese, 33, wore a royal purple silk taffeta Vivienne Westwood gown with train and petticoats over a Mr. Pearl couture corset. Her tri-corn hat was by Stephen Jones and her shoes were by Christian Louboutin. Manson, 36, wore a John Galliano black silk taffeta tuxedo with velvet trim and a Stephen Jones hat.

"Everyone expected Manson and Dita to have some sort of crazy vampire wedding, but anyone who knows the couple knew it would be the classy, stylish affair that it was," a wedding guest told People. "They are totally in love."

Manson and Von Teese began dating in 2001 and became engaged in 2004. This is the first marriage for both.
