Pavarotti says Three Tenors to sing again

HONG KONG, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Opera superstar Luciano Pavarotti says he will do "another concert or two" with Jose Carreras and Placido Domingo as the Three Tenors.

Pavarotti made the comment before the Hong Kong concert on his 40-city farewell world tour, the BBC reported Thursday.

Laryngitis kept Pavarotti from joining the other two tenors in Mexico in June, but he said: "I think we are going to make another concert or two with the other two tenors before I retire."

Pavarotti said he had not decided where his final concert will be, but said it would either be in Milan, London, Vienna or New York.

The 70-year-old father of a 3-year-old daughter said he was looking forward to spending time with his family.
