LOS ANGELES, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- "Loverboy" starring Kyra Sedgewick, a movie directed by her actor/husband Kevin Bacon, has been snatched up by ThinkFilm and Screen Media Films.
The film based on Victoria Redel's novel of the same name will be released in North America next spring to coincide with the second season premiere of Sedgwick's TNT series, "Closer," Daily Variety reported Tuesday.

The movie is about a woman who wants a child but not a husband. She gets pregnant after a one-night stand and moves to a small town to raise her son. But things go awry when the boy reaches school age, Variety said.
