SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Professional race car driver Danica Patrick has married personal trainer and physical therapist Paul Hospenthal in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Patrick, 23, and Hospenthal, 40, got married Saturday, People magazine reported Tuesday.

Patrick made history by placing fourth in the 2005 Indy 500, the highest ever for a woman. At one point she was in first place, but a miscalculation in fuel conservation led to a late race pitstop, costing her the victory.

Patrick met her new husband when she sought treatment after hurting her hip while doing yoga.
