Lifetime gets 'Medium' in 2009

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Lifetime Television has acquired the exclusive basic cable rights for the NBC hit "Medium" starting in 2009, it was announced Monday.

Star Patricia Arquette won a 2005 Emmy for her portrayal of psychic crime solver Allison DuBois.

Financial details of the deal between Lifetime and Paramount Domestic Television were not released.
