'South Park' duo signs Paramount deal

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Paramount Pictures has reportedly inked "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone to a three-year, first-look deal.

The duo will become chief executive officers of "Trunity, a Mediar company, a division of True Mediar, a Unity Corpbopoly," Zap2it.com reported Friday.

Under the deal, Parker and Stone will write, direct and produce features. Their collaborators Anne Garefino and Jennifer Howell will serve as Trunity's president and senior vice president.

Parker and Stone's contract with Comedy Central for "South Park" runs through 2008.

Their "South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut" feature film grossed $80 million domestically while "Team America: World Police" pulled in about $30 million.
