When police responded to an alarm going off at the Speedway Restaurant around 1 a.m. Monday, they found a hole in the ceiling where the intruder apparently crashed through, the newspaper said.

Further investigation found the 43-year-old curled up in the eatery's oven.

"The guy was only half-baked when he was picked up," Police Capt. Hugo McPhee said with a laugh.
