LONDON, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Debrett's, the book that lists Britain's top achievers, has named singer Joss Stone its young person of the year.

News anchor Trevor McDonald and Live 8 organizer Bob Geldof are also honored as people of the year in the latest edition that names 24,000 "significant individuals in British society," the BBC reported Monday.

TV comedians Ant and Dec as well as actors Kenneth Branaugh and Joanna Lumley are hailed for their contributions to their fields.

The only former Spice Girl remaining on the prestigious list is Victoria Beckham.

New entries this year include singer Shirley Bassey, Stereophonics lead singer Kelly Jones and Robbie Williams' former songwriter partner Guy Chambers.

Other additions include actors Tim Roth and Pete Postlethwaite; authors Tracey Chevalier, Andrea Levy and Louis de Bernieres; and artists Jack Vettriano, Marc Quinn and Lucian Freud.
