LOS ANGELES, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Nick Nolte and Samantha Morton may be joining the cast of "Pride and Glory," a new film about a family of police officers.

Negotiations are taking place with the stars to join the New Line film's cast, which already includes Colin Farrell, Edward Norton and Noah Emmerich, The Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday.

The Gavin O'Connor-directed film will tell the story of three generations of police officers torn apart by a corruption scandal.

The story was written by O'Connor and Joe Carnahan.
