LOS ANGELES, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Comic Bob Saget is getting ready to spoof the theatrical hit "March of the Penguins" with his own "Farce of the Penguins."

The actor who is currently the narrator of CBS-TV's "How I Met Your Mother" will write, direct, produce and lend his voice to the R-rated penguin parody for ThinkFilm, Zap2it.com reported Thursday.

Saget said in a statement he couldn't stop doing his own voice-overs while watching "March of the Penguins" at a friend's house.

"My friend David Permut said, 'There's a great comedy movie in this,'" Saget said.

The film is scheduled to be rushed out for a spring release, Zap2it.com said.
